Orchard Tablecloth

This is another older watercolor that I took out of frame and repainted the entire lower half using acrylic white with watercolors.  I draped the table cloth over the back of a couch close to a South large window, as in original work,  and set up a large board behind it to put on a few dishes over the tablecloth to get the shadows restaged. I sat at the dining room table,  worked on the re-design on my iPad and then painted repeatedly with thinned washes in morning winter light. it was a real experiment with the risk of ruining it always
